YG-1, total tooling solution provider in cutting tool industry has released updated ‘indexable inserts’ inch catalog. It includes the complete information for milling, drilling, turning and parting & grooving and is designed to give complete overview quickly.

Newly developed milling grades to meet the customers’ needs for each work materials- such as YG622 and YG712 for Steel, YG603 for Stainless Steel, YG501 and YG5020 for Cast Iron, and YG50 for Aluminum machining- continues the ever expanding milling line-up. Also, for the drilling part, WCMX ‘03’ is added.

Newly developed YG3015 has been added which is optimized to meet the demands in high volume production of steel components where variations in materials and setups put new requirements on productivity with balance of superior wear resistance and improved toughness.

Additionally, in the turning section, description pages for holder code system are added aide in selecting appropriate holders for any given insert. Also, the YG grade naming system offers information on the application of each grade. In addition, the new catalog contains insert items that has been expanded for existing products with grades and chip breakers.

In addition to the product information, the new catalog provides various useful technical data, such as - hardness conversion table, material group, milling grades comparison chart, insert conversion chart between ISO and ANSI- allowing customers to easily find the information they need for their machining.
